ABOUT KATE
A little more about me.
I'm a Brooklyn-based therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, creating space to explore what's going on beneath the surface while finding ways to move forward.
MY APPROACH
Therapy that feels like a conversation—with intention.
I don't believe therapy needs to feel overly formal or clinical to be meaningful. My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I'll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest feedback when it's helpful.
Some sessions might involve looking more closely at patterns or experiences that have shaped you. Others might focus on practical strategies for navigating something happening in your life right now. Often, it's a combination of both.
Above all, I want our work to feel useful, personal, and grounded in what matters to you.
WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE
When you’re used to holding a lot.
I work with people who are navigating full lives, often balancing the expectations they place on themselves with the demands of work, relationships, and family. You might find yourself overthinking decisions, putting your own needs last, or feeling frustrated by patterns you understand but can't quite seem to change.
Other times, it's a particular experience or transition that brings you to therapy, whether that's a shift in your career, challenges in a relationship, or the complexities of starting or growing a family. Whatever brings you here, we'll make space to understand what's happening and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Let’s start with a conversation.
Finding the right therapist is important. I offer a complimentary initial consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for, answer your questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
