FERTILITY, PREGNANCY, POSTPARTUM & PARENTHOOD
The space between expectation and experience.
The path to parenthood doesn't always unfold the way you imagined. Fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood can bring a complicated mix of emotions, expectations, and changes in how you see yourself and your relationships.
Therapy offers space to process these experiences, navigate the unexpected, and find your footing through periods of change.
THE EXPERIENCE
Every stage brings its own complexities.
Fertility & Trying to Conceive
Pregnancy
Trying to conceive can bring uncertainty, disappointment, and a sense that so much is outside your control. Whether you're navigating fertility treatments, difficult decisions, pregnancy loss, or the emotional toll of waiting, it can be challenging to balance hope with the reality of what you're experiencing.
Pregnancy can bring excitement alongside anxiety, vulnerability, and unexpected changes in how you feel about yourself. From navigating uncertainty about the future to adjusting to physical and emotional changes, there's often more to process than people anticipate.
Postpartum & Parenthood
The transition into parenthood can shift your identity, relationships, and sense of balance. Between the mental load, changing expectations, and the demands of caring for a child, it can be difficult to make space for your own needs—even when this is a chapter you've deeply wanted.
MY APPROACH
Making room for your own experience.
There isn't one right way to feel about fertility struggles, pregnancy, or parenthood. You can feel grateful and overwhelmed, hopeful and uncertain, or find yourself struggling with something you expected to come more easily.
In our work together, we'll make space for those experiences while also addressing the challenges they bring. That might mean managing anxiety, processing disappointment or loss, navigating changes in your relationships, or adjusting to a shifting sense of identity.
Alongside processing what you're going through, we'll work on practical ways to manage the challenges of this chapter, strengthen your sense of self, and feel more grounded in your day-to-day life.
You deserve some care, too.
Whatever this chapter looks like for you, having a place to focus on yourself can make a meaningful difference. I'd love to connect, hear a little about what you're navigating, and see if working together feels like a good fit.
